Yoeun is a fifth grade student from Cambodia. He has three sisters, three brothers, and enjoys playing soccer, watching television, and feeding the chickens nearby his house. In August 2016, Yoeun was is a severe motorcycle accident and fractured his right leg. He received treatment at a local hospital, where the doctors fixated internal hardware to help his fracture heal in alignment. Now, the fracture has healed but the hardware causes him pain and discomfort. Fortunately, surgeons at our medical partner, Children's Surgical Centre, can help. On December 13th, Yoeun will undergo a hardware removal procedure, which will cost $214. Surgery will remove the hardware and relieve Yoeun's pain and allow him to walk again without difficulty. "I hope that the surgery will go well and my son will feel better again and I won't have to worry about his injuries anymore."-Yoeun's Mother
