Crispon broke his right tibia one day while working as a casual laborer. Since then, he hasn't been able to walk.
Crispon lives with his wife, five children, and one grandchild in Kenya. The family has already been through a lot. In Kenya's election violence, they lost all their property and some family members.
Crispon hasn't been able to work since his accident. He had to take his kids out of school because he couldn't afford the fees. "I want to get well so that I can take care of my children again," Crispon says. "I love them so much. It hurts me to see them suffer. I want to walk again.”
For $1,500, Crispon can have surgery to repair his tibia. This will enable him to walk, work, and continue supporting his family!
