Emily is a 22-year-old student living with her parents in Kenya. Emily’s parents are casual laborers and are able to sustain their family’s basic needs and school fees with their combined incomes. Emily is expecting her first child. She has been having severe back pains, headaches and is lacking the energy she needs to concentrate on her house chores and studies. Emily fears home delivery because of the high risk of fatality. By raising $215 for Emily, we can provide her with medical attention in a healthcare facility to ensure the safe delivery of her baby.
