Junryl is a seven-year-old boy from the Philippines. He lives with his aunt and grandparents, because his parents are separated. In his free time he loves to draw and play with his friends at school. Junryl was born with a cleft lip and palate. His cleft lip was corrected when he was two years old, but his cleft palate continues to cause him feeding and speech difficulties. He needs surgery to repair his cleft palate, which will significantly improve Junryl’s quality of life. Junryl and his family need help raising money. Our medical partner, International Care Ministries, is requesting $58 to fund Junryl’s cleft palate surgery, which is scheduled for May 24. "I hope to be treated for my condition. When I grow up, I want to be in the army, because they are strong" says Junryl.
