Chy Vorn is a three-year-old girl from Cambodia. She has one older brother, and she likes to play with her toys and go for walks with her family. When she was two years old, she received an injection in her thigh that was poorly administered, resulting in the contracture of her knee. She is unable to fully extend her knee. When Chy Vorn learned about our medical partner, Children's Surgical Centre, she traveled for five hours seeking treatment. On April 29, surgeons at CSC will perform a quadricepsplasty procedure of her right leg to help her walk and bend her knee normally. Now, Chy Vorn needs help to fund this $413 procedure. Her mother says, "I hope that my daughter's surgery goes well so I don't have to worry about her condition and she will be able to walk like normal."

Vireak is a boy from Cambodia. He has one older brother. He likes to eat fried vegetables and drink fresh juices. He wants to be a solider when he grows up. Seven years ago, he got an infection and still experiences nasal obstruction and a runny nose. He needs to undergo a tonsillectomy and adenoidectomy procedure to remove the infection and allow him to breathe easily again. Surgery is scheduled for July 10. Now, his family needs help raising $221 to fund the procedure. His mother says, "I am worried about my son's recurrent infection. We hope the surgery will remove the infection."

Joshua is a three-year-old boy. He is the only child in his family. Three years ago, Joshua was born with a congenital anorectal malformation. His parents borrowed money from friends and family to pay for the first in a series of necessary surgeries to treat his condition. They were left in debt and do not have money to pay for the second required surgery. Fortunately, the family visited our medical partner's care center. There, Joshua will undergo another corrective surgery on June 13. Now, his family needs help funding this $1,500 procedure. Joshua’s mother says, “There is no where we could go to borrow money again for Joshua’s treatment. Please help our son get the treatment for the remaining stages and live a normal life.”
