Ahadi is a seven-year-old girl from Tanzania with big dreams of becoming a doctor. As eager as she was to start school, Ahadi is finding it challenging because she has severe burn scar contractures (areas of tightened skin) on her left hand and face. She endures teasing from classmates and it's hard for her to use her left hand to play games.
Ahadi's mother is a hardworking primary school teacher. Her father used to work in a small factory, but the factory went bankrupt and he is now unemployed. With only her mother's salary to sustain them, the family of three isn't able to afford the $655 needed to pay for the contracture release surgery and injections Ahadi needs.
Let's raise the funds for Ahadi to help her enjoy school and achieve her dreams of becoming a doctor!
