Seyha is an 18-year-old man who lives with his older sister, who is married and has a child. His parents live and work in a different province trying to support their family the best they can. Seyha was born with right leg limb deficiency, or congenital amputation. He has used a prosthesis since he was 10 years old. Recently, he began experiencing pain at the stump site and it was recommended that he visit our medical partner, Children's Surgical Centre (CSC), for further evaluation and treatment. On November 4th, surgeons at CSC will perform a stump revision procedure to ease Seyha's pain and restore better mobility. Now, he needs help raising $352 to fund his procedure and care. Seyha shared, "I hope my leg will feel well so I can wear the prosthesis again and walk and work without pain."

Piseth is an eight-year-old student, with one sister and one brother. His best subject in school is reading, and in his free time he enjoys playing football with his friends. Two months ago, Piseth developed a chalazion, or an inflamed cyst in the tear gland, in his left eye. The chalazion causes him pain, itchiness, and irritation, and it is difficult for him to see clearly and read in school. Piseth traveled with his father to seek treatment from our medical partner, Children's Surgical Centre. On May 20th, surgeons will remove the cyst through a chalazion excision procedure. After recovery, Piseth's symptoms should improve. Now, his family needs help raising $187 to fund this procedure. Piseth shared, "I hope my eye gets better so I can study easier at school and play with my friends."

Leap is married and has a family of four children and five grandchildren. She enjoys looking after her grandchildren and visiting the pagoda to listen to the monks pray. On April 15th, 2021, Leap fell down while pulling a cow and has had left hip pain since then. She received Khmer traditional treatment but her hip pain did not improve. She then went to a clinic where an X-ray was taken, but none of the treatment offered was one that Leap could afford. In search of treatment, finally she visited our medical partner Children's Surgical Centre (CSC) where they can repair her left femoral fracture. CSC is requesting $539 for an arthroplasty that will allow Leap to walk again. Leap shares, "I hope I can be free of pain and walk again after my surgery."
