Mukangango is a small-scale farmer from Uganda. She is married with children. For six years, Mukangango has been experiencing lower abdominal pain. She has been diagnosed with a cervical myoma. She needs to undergo a hysterectomy, a procedure in which surgeons will remove her uterus. Our medical partner, African Mission Healthcare Foundation, is requesting $208 to fund Mukangango's surgery. On March 7, she will undergo gynecological surgery at our medical partner's care center. Once recovered, Mukangango will be able to resume her daily activities free of pain. Mukangango says, “I hope to get better after surgery and continue with cultivation.”

Meet Sakana, a one-year-old little girl from Cambodia who is loved by her mother and older sister. Sakana was born with a droopy left eyelid, a condition called blepharoptosis. If this condition is left untreated, it could affect her eyesight and cause blurred vision. Our medical partner, Children's Surgical Centre, shared with us that “her mother traveled five hours in hopes of a successful surgery." For $290 we can help fund the surgery to lift her left eyelid and improve her eyesight. Let's help this beautiful baby have a great start at life!
