"He has a lowered immune system, secondary to malnutrition and as a result is suffering from high temperatures. He is very irritable, unresponsive, and has diarrhea." Clinicians at KF are prepared to help Demyano at this time. "With antibiotics we will treat the secondary infection and with supplemental nutrients and vitamins he will soon be on his way to a healthy life," they write. "He will no longer be irritable with diarrhea and will become more responsive with every day."
