Pisey is an exuberant four-year-old girl from Cambodia. When Pisey was one, she accidentally crawled into a cooking fire and severely burned her hand. Since then, scar tissue has accumulated and her skin has tightened around the burn site, greatly limiting her ability to use her hand.
Pisey loves to play and have fun. The surgeons at Children's Surgical Centre believe they can help Pisey by releasing the tension in her skin and replacing the unhealthy skin on her hand with a healthy skin graft. This treatment will greatly improve her ability to open and close her hand.
Pisey's surgery costs only $300, but her family cannot afford to pay for it. Let's fund Pisey's surgery and give her the freedom to use both of her hands as she grows up.
