Anod is a primary student from Malawi. Anod lives with his parents and little sister, and he likes going to school and playing cars with his friends.
Since August, Anod has had an inguinal hernia. This hernia causes Anod a lot of pain, and he is often too uncomfortable to go to school and to play with his friends. Fortunately, on November 2, he will undergo hernia repair surgery at Nkhoma Hospital, our medical partner's care center.
Our medical partner, World Altering Medicine, is requesting $334 to fund Anod's surgery. The requested money pays for supplies, medications, and six nights of hospital stay. Anod's mother, Loda, was thrilled that her son will get the surgery he needs, especially since it was too expensive for the family to afford.
She says, "Thank you. Now my little boy will be well!"
