Priscilla is the four-month-old daughter of Tanzanian farmers. She was born with club feet, a condition which causes her feet to angle inwards. If left untreated, this condition will hinder her ability to stand or walk normally.
Priscilla's parents rely on seasonal employment at other people’s farms to support themselves. The $500 surgery their daughter needs to live a normal, active life is far outside their reach. But if she doesn't receive medical care soon, Priscilla will begin to use the sides of her feet to move herself around, which will cause more pain when walking in the future.
“It is our prayer that our baby girl’s deformity will be corrected so she can walk properly like other children when the time comes,” Priscilla’s parents say. Let's help make sure this little girl's first steps are pain-free!
