Rose is about to give birth to her first child and she is hoping to access maternal health services that will ensure a safe delivery. Rose is a farmer who grows crops for family use and sugarcane to supplement their other needs. Rose’s father is a carpenter who works hard to sustain the family. Throughout her pregnancy, Rose has worked with our medical partner, Lwala Community Alliance, to create a birth plan and save up money for her new arrival. "I pray to deliver a healthy child," Rose says, "for my baby to be immunized at birth, and to continue with my studies." For $215, we can cover the cost of Rose's comprehensive maternal health services to make sure she welcomes her baby safely.

A few months ago, Noeun broke her wrist when she fell in her home. At 40-years-old, Noeun lives with her husband and three children in Cambodia, where she works as a rice farmer. Noeun’s injury is very painful and has reduced her mobility severely. Due to the location of the injury, it has also prevented Noeun from working. For $300, we can cover the cost of surgery to repair Noeun’s broken wrist and allow her to return to work!
