Sweet three-month-old Paulo was born without the ability to pass stool. Because of the urgent nature of his condition, Paulo was given a colostomy, an alternative waste disposal opening located in his abdomen. In order to live a normal life, Paulo needs surgery to remove the affected intestines and create a normal passage to replace the preliminary colostomy.
