Meet Maude, a 40-year-old mother of four who lives in Haiti. Maude has been diagnosed with breast cancer. Her condition has become so painful that Maude can no longer care for herself or perform normal household duties. Maude used to be a nurse but was forced to leave her job during a difficult pregnancy. She then worked hard, selling goods on the street to support her family. Because of her condition, she is now unemployed. She says, “I am looking forward to the success of this surgery so that I can have my physical and mental strength back to return to my previous activities and do the best I can to take care of my family.” Let’s work together to raise $1,500 for Maude’s chemotherapy and surgery.
