Nshabomwe is an eight-year-old student who is does well in school and enjoys playing football. Sadly, he lost his father last year and he is being raised by his grandmother. His mother sells fruit to travelers along the road and sends money back for their living expenses. For four years, Nshabomwe has had an inguinal hernia and hydrocele. He experiences pain, especially when he walks or plays, and the hydrocele has caused him uncomfortable symptoms in a sensitive area. If not treated, the hernia could become strangulated and Nshabomwe could be at risk of infertility in the future. Fortunately, our medical partner, African Mission Healthcare (AMH), is helping Nshabomwe to receive treatment. On July 6th, he will undergo hernia repair surgery at AMH's care center. Once completed, this procedure will hopefully allow him to live more comfortably and confidently. Now, AMH requesting $230 to fund Nshabomwe's procedure. Nshabomwe's mother shared, “my son is in a difficult situation and really needs your support for the sake of his happiness. I will be happy seeing him able to smile again and in good health after surgery.”
