Akampulira is a baby from Uganda. He is an only child to his mother. He loves eating rice and meat and drinking milk.
For one year, Akampulira has had a bilateral inguinal hernia. The hernia is increasing in size over time and is causing him discomfort. Fortunately, on March 21, he will undergo hernia repair surgery at our medical partner's care center.
Our medical partner, African Mission Healthcare Foundation, is requesting $249 to fund Akampulira's surgery. Once completed, this procedure will hopefully allow him to live more comfortably.
His mother says, “After surgery of my son I will continue farming and my son will grow with good health without having on and off evening and morning fevers."
