Rhoda is a 47-year-old woman from a village in Malawi. She lives with her husband, two children, and five grandchildren. She grows maize, groundnuts, and soybean. Rhoda is very devoted to her Christian faith, and she likes spending her free time reading the Bible. Last month, Rhoda began to experience painful symptoms in a sensitive area. After visiting several care centers without success, Rhoda visited our medical partner's hospital, Nkhoma District Hospital, with her husband and daughter. She underwent a hysterectomy surgery on October 27. The family needs help to fund this $643 procedure. After recovery, Rhoda is looking forward to returning home and spending time with her family and church. Rhoda expressed deep gratitude to the Watsi donors.
