Vin is a rambunctious 12-year-old boy who loves playing sports. His favorites are soccer and volleyball. Sometimes, getting roughed up comes as part of the territory when you’re a young, active boy. In April of this year, Vin fell off his bicycle and broke his elbow. He was treated by a traditional healer in his village, but the fracture did not heal properly. Since then, Vin has been having trouble writing and playing his beloved sports because of the pain in his arm. Vin and his mom traveled three hours to seek treatment at Children’s Surgical Centre and the staff there are ready to help. For $300, Vin can get the surgery he needs to repair the fracture, decrease his pain, and help him be a rowdy kid again!
