Francisca is a friendly K’ichee’ speaking woman from central Guatemala. She has a large nodule on her thyroid gland that is preventing her from swallowing normally and causing significant pain. Francisca has already consulted with many doctors about her case, but she needs special treatment using a thyroid needle aspiration to remove her nodule.
