Selvin and Manuel are two and four-year-old brothers from Guatemala. They are both suffering from severe malnutrition and need aggressive nutritional therapy and medication to get back on track towards health.
Selvin and Manuel come from a poor family. Their doctors say that while they have always been vulnerable from a food security and health standpoint due to their economic status, their parents’ recent unemployment and eviction from their home has made matters much worse. The boys are now trapped in vicious cycles of weight loss, fatigue, lethargy, diarrhea, and poor nutrient absorption.
Wuqu’ Kawoq is requesting $400 to help these boys gain weight and resume normal growth and development. Let’s help Selvin and Manuel overcome these hurdles and enjoy normal childhood!
