Eight-year-old Laurenz is from the Philippines, and has a condition called hydrocele - a swelling in his groin area. Because of his condition, the active boy becomes irritable, especially when he is in pain. His friends sometimes tease him when he does not want to play. His parents are farmers and they are so much concerned with Laurenz’s condition and his future. His mother often cried in desperation that her son would get some help soon before his condition could worsen.
Outside the condition, Laurenz is a very active boy. When he is feeling well, he plays with his playmates and classmates. He does well also in school and a pride to his mother.
He verbalized that if he gets treated, it would make his mama very happy and will not cry anymore. For $1437, we can fund the important treatment he needs. His parent are farmers and they cannot afford the treatment, because their income is barely enough to sustain their family needs.
