Mom is a garment factory worker from Cambodia. She likes to watch television, take care of her children, cook food, and grow vegetables in her garden.
In January 2019, Mom was in an accident where she fell down and injured her elbow and wrist. She is unable to bend her elbow and has limited function in her wrist.
Fortunately, surgeons at our medical partner, Children’s Surgical Centre, can help. On April 25, Mom will undergo a fracture repair procedure, which will cost $430. This procedure will help to realign the bones and allow Mom to easily move her arm again without any pain.
She says, “I hope that my surgery is success so that I will be able to regain movement in my arm and return to my work at the factory.”
