Boeurm is a rice and potato farmer from Cambodia. He has seven siblings. He likes to listen to music and watch TV series in his free time.
In October 2017, he cut and burned his heel. He experiences pain and has difficulty moving his toes and foot.
When Boeurm learned about our medical partner, Children’s Surgical Centre, he traveled for three hours seeking treatment. On April 26, surgeons at CSC will perform a debridement procedure to to remove damaged and infected tissue from the wound. Now, Boeurm needs help to fund this $262 procedure.
He says, “After surgery, I hope to return to work and hope to spend more time with my family and friends.”

Boeurm underwent wound care.
Boeurm’s surgery went well and he’s been working with the physiotherapy team to improve the mobility and function in his foot. Surgery will allow Boeurm to greatly improve his quality of life and allow him to walk and work without pain.
He says, “I am happy with the results of the surgery. Now I can walk better without pain. I would like to say thank you too much for helping me.”
