Linda is a 21-year-old rice farmer from Cambodia. She has two daughters, and enjoys watching television and cooking food for her family.
In June 2019, Linda was in a traumatic motorcycle accident resulting in multiple leg and arm fractures. She received treatment at a clinic in Vietnam, where she spent one month in the hospital as doctors fixated hardware to internally heal the fracture in her leg. Now, the location of her hardware causes her pain and discomfort.
Fortunately, surgeons at our medical partner, Children’s Surgical Centre, can help. On November 05, Linda will undergo a hardware removal procedure, which will cost $214. Surgery will remove the hardware and allow for Linda to walk and move easily again.
Linda said, “I hope that I will feel better after my surgery and I will no longer have any pain.”
