Sunday is a three-month-old baby boy from Uganda. He is the second child in his family. Sunday’s parents work as small farmers, growing food for consumption and doing farm labor for an income.
For the last few days, Sunday has had pneumonia, making it hard for him to breastfeed. Seeking out treatment, Sunday’s parents took him to our medical partner’s care center, Bwindi Community Hospital. Our medical partner, The Kellermann Foundation, is asking for $106 to cover the cost of Sunday’s labs, medication, and hospital fees.

Sunday underwent pneumonia treatment.
Sunday was very ill with pneumonia when he was admitted and was hospitalized for five days, several days longer than for a normal admission. While in the hospital, he received antibiotics and other treatments. He is now breathing normally, eating well, and feeling much better.
