Borey is a 42-year-old construction worker who is married with one son and one daughter. In his free time, he likes to play volleyball with his co-workers after work, listen to the news on the radio, and read magazines.
Borey developed a chronic wound infection on the fourth toe of his right foot about a month and a half ago. It is difficult for him to walk, and he experiences pain, which has made him unable to work.
Thankfully, Borey’s neighbor told him about Watsi and our medical partner in Cambodia, Children’s Surgical Centre. He traveled for four hours with his wife to reach CSC for treatment.
CSC surgeons will amputate the toe to help Borey walk easily again and get back to work. They are seeking $413 to fund the procedure.
