Srey Soung is 16 years old and lives in Cambodia with her family. She has three siblings and likes to cook in her downtime.
In March, she was in a motorbike accident and fractured her cheek bone. She’s in pain, and the ability to chew and open her mouth is limited.
She visited our medical partner, Children’s Surgical Centre, to receive care for her fracture. This is her first time seeking medical treatment for this injury, as she’s only been taking painkillers at home. The doctors have recommended surgery and have scheduled it for November 29.
Srey Soung cannot afford the surgery and is seeking Watsi’s help to raise $390. Surgery can help restore function and eliminate pain. She will hopefully be free of her condition and able to get back to her day-to-day life after the surgery.
“I hope my daughter can get help,” says Srey Soung’s mother.
