Entraktevy is a two-year-old girl from Cambodia. She lives with her parents and one older brother in Phnom Penh. Her mother is a housewife, and her father works as a tour guide. Her favorite meal is fried chicken, and she loves watching cartoons on her mom’s phone.
Since birth, Entraktevy has had a mass on the tip of her tongue. She underwent surgery at a local hospital when she was one year old, but the mass has recurred. She experiences difficulty eating and speaking.
Entraktevy traveled to our medical partner’s care center to receive treatment. On June 12th, surgeons at Children’s Surgical Centre (CSC), will remove the mass. Entraktevy’s family is able to contribute $100 towards her medical costs but needs help raising the remaining $173 in funds.
Entraktevy’s mom shared, “I hope that after surgery, my daughter can eat more easily and learn to talk more. I won’t have to worry about her so much.”
