Dina is a 50-year-old rice farmer from Cambodia. She has four children and four grandchildren, who she likes to cook for and take care of in her free time.
Five months ago, Dina suffered from a motorcycle accident, fracturing her left forearm. This condition gives her pain everyday and she is unable to do her work.
Fortunately, surgeons at our medical partner, Children’s Surgical Centre, can help. On January 30, Dina will undergo a fracture repair procedure, which will cost $430. After the surgery, Dina will regain movement in her left arm, allowing her to continue her work.
She says, “After surgery, I hope to no longer have any pain and that I am able to use my hand again for my work.”
