Minshu is a loving mother of six children who has suffered from breast cancer for over a year and a half. Her husband has a farm where he grows wheat, beans, cabbage, and carrots. He was able to pay for some of Minshu’s previous medical care, but he cannot afford the surgery she needs now.
This operation will be an attempt to remove any cancer in Minshu’s breast area and drain lymphatic tissue of her armpit. Her doctors write, “There is a chance that this will cure her,” but at the very least, “the operation can prevent local recurrence and associated pain.”
Before getting sick, Minshu worked for her local government teaching community health, but a month ago she had to quit her job because of her illness. She dreams of getting healthy so she can continue raising her six children and see them finish school.
