Len is a mother of eight from Cambodia. She has four sons, four daughters, ten grandchildren, and enjoys spending time at the church in her free time.
Two years ago, Len developed a cataract in her left eye, causing her blurry and cloudy vision. She has difficulty seeing things clearly, recognizing faces, and going anywhere outside.
When Len learned about our medical partner, Children’s Surgical Centre, she traveled for one and a half hours seeking treatment. On June 19, doctors will perform a phacoemulsification cataract surgery and an intraocular lens implant in her left eye. After recovery, she will be able to see clearly. Now, she needs help to fund this $211 procedure.
She says, “I hope that after my operation, I will be able to see clearly and can go anywhere outside on my own.”
