Rithy is a sweet 18-month-old boy from Cambodia. He has two siblings who are both older than him: one sister and one brother. Rithy loves to play with his toy cars, as well as with his siblings!
Rithy was born with syndactyly of the left hand. This means that his middle and ring fingers are fused together on that hand. Because of his condition, it is difficult for him to use his hand and grasp objects.
Fortunately, surgeons will perform a syndactyly repair procedure on July 14th to separate and release the fused fingers. Our medical partner, Children's Surgical Centre, is requesting $444 to fund this procedure. After surgery, he will be able to use his hand easily and comfortably.
Rithy's father says, "I hope he can have good function of his hand after surgery."
