Davis is a three-month-old baby from Uganda. He has an older sibling who is 2 and a half years old. His parents are farmers, and they own a three-room house.
Since birth, Davis has had a right groin hernia. The swelling has increased, and it causes him pain which makes him upset most of the time. The baby cries whenever he is carried. His parents visited Rushoroza Hospital for treatment and surgery was recommended but they are unable to pay for the costs.
Fortunately, our medical partner, African Mission Healthcare, can help and is requesting $170 to fund Davis’s surgery. On February 23rd, he will undergo hernia repair surgery and once completed, this procedure will hopefully allow him to live more comfortably.
Davis’s father says, “I pray for a successful surgery, and I believe my child will live an improved life. May God bless you.”
