Theresa is a 49-year-old photographer from the Philippines. She is married and the mother of four children. Her business takes her to many local towns, photographing graduation ceremonies.
In 2010, Theresa felt a lump on her neck that has since increased in size. She sought medical care at a government hospital and was prescribed medication, but the growth only continued to get bigger. A doctor suggested surgery, but Theresa was not able to afford such treatment at that time.
Our medical partner, International Care Ministries, is requesting $1,202 to fund Theresa’s surgery. She is scheduled for treatment on June 27.
”I am so grateful and thankful that there is a foundation that can assist me with my condition,” Theresa says. “I want to serve my family and others who are in need. I want my life to be more meaningful. Our family struggles financially and we cannot afford the hospital fees for the surgery. Thank you so much for this opportunity you have given. I pray that the surgery will be a success. I am looking forward to being healed and helping my husband to provide for our family.”
