Mary is a hair stylist from Kenya. She has two children.
Since October 2017, Mary has been experiencing lower abdominal pains. She has been diagnosed with cervical cancer. She needs to undergo a hysterectomy, a procedure in which surgeons will remove her uterus.
Our medical partner, African Mission Healthcare Foundation, is requesting $756 to fund Mary’s surgery. On April 5, she will undergo gynecological surgery at our medical partner’s care center. Once recovered, Mary will be able to resume her daily activities free of pain.
Mary says, “I want to be treated and be there for my children. They are still young and I can’t leave them with no one to care for.”
