Sakey is a 26-year-old man from Cambodia who fell off the roof of a house during rainy season and suffered a non-union fracture to his arm. As a result of the accident, Sakey lost all ability to rotate his hand and arm, and was fired from his job as a rubber farmer. Sakey said that his current condition is “disturbing his life.”
Fortunately, doctors at CSC believe they can repair Sakey’s arm. The treatment, which includes open reduction and pinning, will enable Sakey to regain use of his arm and return to work in agriculture so he can continue to support his family and four sisters.
