Nasasira is a child from Uganda. He has two siblings, and he is in nursery school. His parents are small-scale farmers.
For two months, Nasasira has had an umbilical hernia. This causes him pain and discomfort and if not treated. the hernia may result in intestinal tissue damage. Fortunately, on September 18, he will undergo hernia repair surgery at our medical partner’s care center.
Our medical partner, African Mission Healthcare Foundation, is requesting $219 to fund Nasasira’s surgery. Once completed, this procedure will hopefully allow him to live more comfortably.
Nasasira’s mother says, “I will be very great when my son is relieved of this condition because it has affected his moods and I have no peace at all as I don’t have money for his treatment.”
