Meet Sophea!
Sophea is an 18-year-old teenager living in Cambodia who is the eldest of his two brothers and sister.
“Three months ago Sophea fell down a ladder and broke his left ankle,” writes our medical partner Children’s Surgical Centre (CSC). “His ankle never healed and he now walks with a limp and with pain, as well as having a deformed looking ankle.” This has left Sophea unable to go to school.
“He is looking forward to being able to play sports like volleyball and football when his ankle is better again. He also cannot wait to return to school, where he is very far behind,” continues CSC. But with just $405, they will be able to provide the necessary treatment to fix Sophea’s ankle. He will finally be able to walk without pain and continue his education!
Let’s help Sophea get back to school!
