Sok An is eight years old and lives in Cambodia. She has four siblings. When she is not attending her second grade classes, she likes to read school books, watch cartoons, and go for walks around her home.
Three months ago, Sok An developed a cyst on her lower lip, which causes her pain each time she eats or drinks. Her grandmother, having heard about our medical partner, Children’s Surgical Centre (CSC), took Sok An on a four-hour journey to receive treatment.
On February 14, surgeons at CSC will perform a cyst removal on Sok An’s lower lip, which will allow her to eat and drink easily again. The surgery costs $224. Your donation will help pay for the surgeons, nurses, anesthesiologists, medical supplies, medication, laboratory tests, and seven nights stay in the hospital.
