Naule is a hardworking 29-year-old man who does construction and carpentry work in Nepal. He is the sole breadwinner for his parents, wife, and son.
Naule has been struggling with the effects of a bone infection in his left leg since he was 18. His condition causes joint stiffness and a backache that impedes his ability to walk, and could eventually rob him of his ability to work at all.
For $1495, our medical partner, Nyaya Health, can arrange for Naule to receive surgery to remove the infected areas of bone from his leg. He’ll also receive proper follow-up treatment to ensure his leg is restored to its full function. Let’s help Naule overcome this infection and get back to providing for his family!

Naule is unfortunately not going to receive the treatment you funded, so we've just sent you a gift card in the amount of your donation.
We have an important update on Naule’s treatment plan.
Naule was scheduled to have surgery to remove the infected area of bone from his leg, but his doctors have since diagnosed him with TB. Therefore, he has to take TB medication for a year before he can have a definitive leg surgery. Despite this, Naule remains in good spirits. He says, “Everyone from this hospital has been treating me like their own family member. I feel so honored to get treatment from such a good hospital.”
We are committed to transparently reporting all patient outcomes to you, so it’s important to us that you decide where your money goes next.
We’ve just emailed you a Watsi gift card for the same amount as your donation to Naule. We’d love for you to use this gift card to support another Watsi patient of your choice. But if you do not want to reallocate your donation to another patient, we’ll gladly refund your contribution.
Thanks again for supporting Watsi patients, we can’t tell you how much we appreciate it.
