Bun Hong is a first grade student from Cambodia. He has one older brother, and enjoys playing soccer, reading books, watching television, and going for walks around the village with his father. He hopes to become a doctor when he gets older.
Since birth, Bun Hong has had a tumor on his leg that is growing in size. He suffers from pain near the site of the tumor.
Bun Hong traveled to our medical partner’s care center to receive treatment. Surgeons at our medical partner, Children’s Surgical Centre (CSC), will remove the mass. Now, Bun Hong needs help to raise $220 to fund this procedure.

Bun Hong had a tumor removed on his leg.
Bun Hong’s operation went well and surgery has improved his quality of life by removing the tumor. Surgery is also important to prevent the tumor from spreading and to ensure Bun Hong does not suffer from any worsening of the condition. He feels happy that he can return to his friends and family in the village.
“I am so happy that the wound is healing and that the tumor has been removed,” Bun Hong shared.
