Samrach is a grocer from Cambodia. He has two daughters, two sons, and four grandchildren. He likes to watch boxing matches and dramas on TV.
Six months ago, Samrach developed a cataract in his left eye, causing him blurry vision and photophobia. He has difficulty seeing things clearly, recognizing faces, and going anywhere outside.
When Samrach learned about our medical partner, Children’s Surgical Centre, he traveled for one hour seeking treatment. On October 30, doctors will perform a small incision cataract surgery and an intraocular lens implant in his left eye. After recovery, he will be able to see clearly. Now, he needs help to fund this $211 procedure.
He says, “I hope my eye can see everything clearly after the procedure so I can recognize faces, watch TV, and drive my moto again.”
