Moe is a nine-year-old third grade student from Burma. She lives with her grandmother, parents, and two cousins.
Moe has been suffering from headaches since she was three years old. In 2018, her condition worsened, with frequent severe headaches. Doctors want Moe to undergo an MRI, an imaging procedure that uses magnetic fields and radio waves to produce images of bodily organs. This scan will hopefully help doctors diagnose her condition and formulate an appropriate treatment plan.
Our medical partner, Burma Children Medical Fund, is requesting $814 to cover the cost of Moe’s MRI and care, scheduled for March 26.
Moe’s grandmother says, “Moe likes to go to school and also she is a student who tries very try hard. Even though Moe is sick, she went to write her exam. In her spare time, she plays with her cousins and neighbors’ kids. She likes to pretend she is a teacher, pretending to teach children how to write their letters and how to read.”
