Kemirembe and her husband are small scale farmers in western Uganda. They have eight children.
She has a swelling on her right wrist joint. The swelling has been present for quite a while and causes her pain and discomfort. If not treated, Kemirembe will continue to experience pain.
Doctors at our medical partner’s care center diagnosed her with a ganglion cyst and recommended mass excision surgery, which she will undergo on August 15. She needs help raising $187 to fund this surgery. After surgery, she will no longer experience pain.
“After surgery, I hope to be more productive so I can expand my farming,” shares Kemirembe.

Kemirembe underwent a mass excision surgery.
Kemirembe received a successful mass excision, and this treatment will enable her to use her wrist without pain and discomfort. Kemirembe will have an improved quality of life.
Kemirembe says, “Thanks a lot Watsi for your support. I cannot thank you enough but I will always pray for your success in al your endeavors. I hope to continue with farming and serving my God.”
