Kimsing is a girl from Cambodia. She has two younger sisters. She likes to study literature and wants to be a doctor when she grows up. She likes to eat fried fish and eggs. She loves to play with her toys with her sisters.
Since infancy, Kimsing has had congenital scoliosis. This causes her pain and makes it difficult to sit up straight and walk. She had surgery as a child where doctors implanted rods to straighten her spine, but now that she is growing, the rods need to be removed because they are causing her pain. She is set to undergo spinal surgery on September 10. The procedure will cost $930.
Her father says, “We hope the surgery will help her.”
