Van is a 74-year-old mother of four from Cambodia. She has twelve grandchildren, and in her free time she likes to listen to the monks pray on the radio.
One year ago, Van developed a cataract in her left eye, causing her vision loss. She has difficulty seeing things clearly, recognizing faces, and going anywhere outside.

On September 5th, doctors will perform a small incision cataract surgery and an intraocular lens implant in her left eye. After recovery, she will be able to see clearly. Now, she needs help to fund this $211 procedure.
