Jezel is a 20-month-old boy from Philippines. His father works as a daily laborer, and his mother is a homemaker.
Jezel has been diagnosed with malnutrition, a condition in which the body does not receive proper nutrition. Beginning on February 22, Jezel will receive at-home treatment from our medical partner, International Care Ministries (ICM).
ICM’s home-based feeding program will provide Jezel with nutrient-enriched food packs to ensure he regains normal weight and achieves optimum physical and mental development. To help sustain Jezel’s health, ICM’s professional staff will educate his mother on proper nutrition, sanitation, hygiene, and organic vegetable gardening.
ICM is asking for $184 to cover the costs of Jezel’s treatment.
Jezel’s father is looking forward to his son finishing his studies and feels very optimistic about ICM’s malnutrition program.
