Ninyesiga is a small businesswoman from Uganda. She is a single mother of 4 children. Her firstborn is 9 years old and in primary school class three; the second and third are twins who are 5 years old and in top junior class; and the fourth child is 4 years old and in middle junior class.
For the last 3 years, Ninyesiga has experienced swelling on her left hip is extremely painful. Sometimes, the pain prevents her from walking freely. Upon visiting the hospital, she was diagnosed with a mass on her left hip that needs to be excised.
Unfortunately, this procedure is costly for Ninyesiga. She separated from her husband some time ago and does not receive any financial support from him to care for and cover school fees for her children. Ninyesiga has a diploma in Cosmetology but is unemployed. She buys and sells second hand clothes to be able to raise some income to sustain her family. Ninyesiga appeals for financial help.
Fortunately, surgeons at our medical partner’s care center can help. On November 13th, surgeons will remove the mass in her hip. The procedure will significantly improve her quality of life. Now, Ninyesiga needs help to raise $145 to fund this procedure.
Ninyesiga shared, “With the surgery, I will be able to walk comfortably and will be able to carry out my daily duties of selling second-hand clothes in order to earn a living for my children.”
