Atuhereza is a baby from Uganda. He has two older siblings. His mother is a pre-school teacher, while his father is a metal welder.
Since birth, Atuhereza has had an umbilical hernia. The hernia causes him pain, especially when he cries or coughs, and if not treated, it may result in intestinal tissue damage. Fortunately, on May 17, he will undergo hernia repair surgery at our medical partner’s care center.
Our medical partner, African Mission Healthcare Foundation, is requesting $219 to fund Atuhereza’s surgery. Once completed, this procedure will hopefully allow him to live more comfortably.
His mother says, “I hope to have peace of mind after my son’s surgery and I continue with cultivation.”
